SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Logistic and Procurement Assistant working under Supervision
Procurement and Logistic Officer.
2. In coordination with Procurement and Logistics Officer and
in line with Caritas Czech Republic established guidelines,
develop, implement and maintain the logistics setup for the
All of Caritas Czech Republic office, such as procurement
materials for Project, transport, warehousing.
3. Ensure all procurement activities are fully and transparently
documented through PRs, POs, Comparative Statements, Bid
Analysis, Invoices and Delivery Reports.
4. Control and manage all goods and supplies that are used by
the Banda Aceh and Aceh Jaya office to enable the effective,
timely and cost-effective implementation of the programs.
5. Initiate Invitations to Bid and collect quotations from
suppliers as necessary.
6. Manage the Caritas Czech Republic assets management
database/logs on daily basis and prepare documentation and
reports for the Logistic and Procurement Officer.
7. Ensure accuracy of the Caritas Czech Republic Field inventory
database on daily basis and prepare documentation/ reports
for internal use and submission to Logistic and Procurement
Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic computer and typing skills, Email, Excel and Word Skill
are among pluses
• Knowledge of security protocols.
• Flexible in term of working hours.
• Flexible working under Pressure
• Flexible working in the field for long time
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
• Fluency in written and oral English & Bahasa Indonesia is a

Summary of the Post:

Under the guidance of Planning & Programme Specialist, the incumbent be
responsible in:



1.    Undertaking a study together to establish baseline data and to
document the current situation of knowledge, attitude and practice of peace
education among children, teachers, youths and communities with focus on
life skills in school as well as out of school for future impact evaluation
of peace education project in Aceh supported by UNICEF.

2.    Tracing and documenting the existing peace education topics that are
present in the current primary school curriculum and methods through which
the content of the topics were delivered by teachers and/or acquired by the
students.

3.    Involving/supporting the development of TOR for the dissemination
workshop and production of the recommendations on the long-term sustainable
strategies for ‘Peace Education’ in Aceh to guide government sectors
(Education, Social, Health and Nutrition…) to move forward with peace
education and related programmes.

4.    Developing detail budget needed for the organization of the
dissemination workshop.

5.    Providing support in:

·         Facilitating the interview and discussion with key informants at
provincial, district and school levels

·         Providing support as needed during the preparation for the
presentation of the main findings and key results of the survey at the
dissemination
workshop.

·         Providing interpretation/translation during the interview/
discussion with counterparts and with key stakeholders, the consolidated and
comprehensive peace education report, KAP survey report and dissemination
workshop.

·         Co-organizing the dissemination workshop with the international
consultant and the government counterparts
Qualifications:

·         Advanced University degree or equivalent in Education, Social
Sciences or related field.

·         5 (five) years progressively responsible experience at national
and international levels and proven expertise and work record in peace
education / building program design and implementation.

·         Advanced knowledge in data processing and analysis.

·         Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, knowledge of Acehnese
will be an asset.

·         Proven ability in negotiation / interaction with senior officials
in the government and other institutions

·         Excellent conceptual, analytical and writing skills

CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit.
 
 
PT. Bina Insan Sejahtera Mandiri (BISMA), microfinance program facilitator promoted by CARE Indonesia is presently seeking staffs for microfinance program in West Java and Banten provinces.
 
 
About the Program
 
BISMA, in cooperation with CARE Indonesia, an international humanitarian non governmental organization, has implemented micro credit development program to strengthen Microfinance Institution (MFI). Launching the program in 2003 in West Java province, now BISMA has actively worked in West Java, Banten, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and South Sulawesi Provinces.  The program covers a) financial cooperation with MFIs to expand their micro credit portfolio and b) technical cooperation with MFIs to improve their institutional capacity in managing financial services to productive low income society.
 
 
JOB TITLE                                                       : INVESTMENT OFFICER

Job Purpose:
 
Investment Officer contributes to the identification, selection, evaluation and monitoring the financial and operational performance of MFIs, including but not limited to the preparation of necessary documentation for the program implementation. With the collaboration to other team work, Investment Officer would also be expected to support the implementation of technical cooperation to MFIs and to evaluate program impact at the level of MFI and beneficiary.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
 
Main Responsibilities:
1.Initiate contacts with candidate partners MFIs and analyze the partners’ financial and non financial information;
2.Prepare a) partnership and fund placement proposals for approval Investment Committee and b) appropriate documentation for fund placement
3.Monitor MFI’s compliance against fund placement terms and conditions;
4.Liaise with partner MFIs in all aspects of the partnership (financial and technical) including but not limited to monitoring of repayment and performance of the micro finance activities and impact of the partnership with BISMA to MFIs;
5.Involve in collection, compilation and analysis of beneficiary data for the purpose of accessing the impact of micro finance program at the micro enterprises (beneficiary) level
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
1.University degree in accounting/manageme nt;
2.Preferably having working experience in lending activities either in the banking, finance or non-government organization industries for 1-2 years;
3.Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skill;
4.Excellent ability to communicate in English (writing and speaking);
5.Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Word, Excell, Power Point)
6.Ability to travel domestically;
7.                  Ability to work within tight deadlines and to work in a team and a multicultural setting.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The position is based in Jakarta and will include travel throughout West Java, Banten and all other part of Indonesia, if required.

School Construction Project Manager

CHF International/ Indonesia wishes to recruit a project manager for a school construction project in Sungai Limau. This project is part of a larger effort to support recovery activities for earthquake-affected populations throughout Padang Pariaman.

Job Title: School Construction Project Manager

Reports To: Shelter and Infrastructure Coordinator

Location: Pariaman, West Sumatra, Indonesia

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The School Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction and rehabilitation of a school in Sungai Limau. The PM will be charged with managing the contractor, measuring progress, and addressing any issues that arise with construction, quality control, and timeline.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

· Directly manage and monitor all aspects of the construction

a.. Ensuring that materials used for the construction and design comply with the technical specifications outlined in the building design;
b.. Assuring that construction methods used by the contractor are consistent with the methods proposed in the contract and construction specifications as approved by CHF in the final selection process;
c.. Facilitating and processing the appropriate documentation and payment for contractors;
d.. Tracking and reporting construction progress to both CHF's Shelter and Infrastructure Coordinator and donor focal point on a weekly basis;
e.. Ensuring the contractor is adhering to the agreed-upon delivery schedule in a timely fashion and according to the construction methods specified in the technical specifications;
f.. Verifying quality assurance standards are met in the construction of the school and reporting any concerns or issues directly to CHF for additional attention; and
g.. Managing and monitoring the project budget and billing cycle to assure that any proposed amendments to the contract do not exceed 10 percent of the original budget. This would include informing the donor of the date and amount for each payment that is due to the contractor.


QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 4-6 years of Project Management experience working with infrastructure programs in international settings in progressively more senior positions.

· Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and bill of quantities.

· Ability to schedule tasks, milestones, deliverables and implement accordingly.

· Must be flexible and willing to work under difficult work and living conditions.

· Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts and stressful environments

· Demonstrated experience managing contractors. Direct experience with school construction a plus.

· Minimum 4-5 years experience supervising and managing a diverse team and commitment to staff development

This position is based in Sungai Limau, and is an estimated 60-day project. The selected candidate will be expected to live and work independently in Sungai Limau.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BA/S or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related field required. Master's degree preferable AND 4-6 years of relevant professional experience similar setting and capacity.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluency in written and oral English and Bahasa Indonesia. Bahasa Minang will be a plus. Must be able to read and interpret documents, and communicate with others as necessary to perform job duties effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
